30 Sept: Arrival India (Late night arrival)
Welcome and assistance at the Delhi international airport. Transfer to hotel for check in.

01 Oct: Delhi
Morning at leisure. Early afternoon we start our Delhi sightseeing. In the sightseeing we visit some of the important cultural symbols of India. We drive past the impressing India Gate, Parliament house and President’s Palace. At greater ease, we visit Raj Ghat, the memorial built in honor of Mahatma Gandhi, father of the nation for India, and learn a bit more about his life and philosophy that helped India get free from the British empire. As one of the cultural highlights, we visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, a Sikh temple to learn about the youngest religion of the world and absorb some of the special atmosphere around this beautiful and serene holy shrine. In the evening we visit Lotus temple, the house of worship for Bahai religion.

02 Oct: Agra (Day train at 06:00 hrs)
Early morning transfer to New Delhi railway station to board day train to Agra, city of Taj Mahal. Upon arrival in Agra, we vi check in at hotel and rest. Post lunch we visit red fort, the best example of mogul architecture. Evening at leisure. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner).

03 Oct: Ranthambhore
Today, in the early hours of the morning, before the sunrise, we visit Taj Mahal, one of the most well known figure of India’s historical heritage and a symbol of eternal love. Post visit breakfast and transfer to Ranthamobre National Park (6 hrs), before a princely game conserve is the scene where the celebrated Indian Tiger is best seen. After lunch PM safari in the park.
Overnight in Ranthambhore Regency or similar.
04 Oct: Jaipur
After breakfast AM game drive in the park. After the game drive you will proceed to Jaipur the ‘PinkCity’ and the capital of Rajasthan. (4 hrs) Lunch en route. Late afternoon, we enjoy a bicycle rickshaw ride through the colourful market of Jaipur, known for some of the most interesting and diversified traffic. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel Alsisar Haveli or similar.

05 Oct: Pushkar
Morning visit the famous Amber fort of Jaipur, where we can enjoy an elephant ride. Post visit lunch by the Kitchen team at an ancient temple, where we can learn a bit more about Hinduism, the most prevalent religion of India. Afternoon transfer to Pushkar, one of the most important Hindu pilgrimages in India. Check in at hotel and rest. (Breakfast, Lunch and dinner).

06 Oct: Chandelao

Morning transfer to Chandelao. En route, in Ajmer, we visit the tomb of Sufi saint Khwaja Moin-ud-din Chisti, the holiest Muslim shrine in India. Despite being a Muslim shrine, its very highly respected by people of all religions, who can be seen praying here for their wishes to be fulfilled.
Afternoon arrival in the village of Chandelao. We check in into ‘Garh’ of Chandelao , a medieval fortress, built by the landlords of the area. During lunch , we can talk with the owner ( who is from the Nobility of the past) who will explain about the fort and how the feudal system worked. Later on a guided leisurely walk through the village of Chandelao for clients to get used to the rural area and observe the various things people are doing.
Late afternoon, we board a camel cart each to go for our special ‘sundowner’ trip. We ride through the village of Chandelao to reach a set of high rocks from where we experience the enchanting sunset along with a drink and some grilled food. After our drinks and some snacks, we return to the Chandelao fort for dinner and overnight. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner).

07 Oct: Chandelao
Today we have the option of taking some cultural visits and activities in and around Chandelao or just spend a leisurely day. Amongst the activities, we can ride jeeps to a nearby village for visiting families of potters or some women making beautiful embroidery on textiles. We can have optional visits to the local markets in the town of Pipar that still retain their traditional flavour or to go for watching migratory birds at a nearby sanctuary. Post sunset, we have dinner at the terrace of the fort enjoying a view of people’s lives by the night. The sumptuous meals at Chandelao are prepared by the Chef of the fort’s kitchen. 08 Oct: Chandelao (Camel Safari)

After a leisurely morning, we start for our camel safari have an early lunch followed by transfer to our camel safari. Today we experience the Thar desert and its culture in all its beauty. Our camel safari will start after lunch and will take us through the desert villages and sand dunes. Perched atop a camel we experience an ancient mode of transport, while also witnessing the everyday life of rural Rajasthan, very harsh, yet, very colourful. We will go through the village streets, observing homes and activities of everyday life. There will also be camel carts available for those of us, who wish to discontinue the camel safari at any point of time.
Tonight we will camp amidst the sand dunes to experience the desert in all its intimidating vastness. The authentic style tents of our camp bear the mark of the royal game hunting times. We have our dinner around a camp fire under the brightly star-lit sky and sleep overnight in the serene tranquillity of the desert.

09 Oct: Chandelao
Our day starts with breakfast in one of the local homes near our camping spot. After breakfast, we start back for Chandelao. We return to Chandelao by 1300 hrs. After wash and change, we have lunch and relax during the afternoon.
In the evening, after an early dinner we enjoy a show of some of the best folk music and dance of Rajasthan along with the people of the village of Chandelao. During the show, we listen to centuries old music forms and enjoy dance forms that range from royal dance to the dance of the gypsy snake charmers. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner).

10 Oct: Chandelao –Jodhpur – Delhi (Flight at 14:00 hrs)

After our breakfast, we leave for Jodhpur, the ‘Sun city’ of Rajasthan. In Jodhpur, our morning will be spent in sightseeing of this medieval town, including the Mehrangarh Fort, this formidable structure that houses some marvelously carved panels, latticed windows, magnificent palaces, huge ramparts and the seven gates to guard the fort.
If flight time permits (flight) we take a leisurely walk in spice market at the Clock tower area of Jodhpur where the sights and smells have not changed for centuries. In the early afternoon we board our flight for Delhi.
Upon arrival in Delhi transfer from the domestic airport to city hotel for wash and change. Evening farewell dinner at revolving restaurant and timely transfer to international airport for flight back home at 01:30 hrs. (Breakfast and dinner).

The high price of the single occupancy supplement is due to the fact that single and double occupancy rate is the same. Price is based on 10 participants.
