About three hours drive from Basecamp Rajasthan we start our camel safari. The camel safari goes through remote villages and ends in the sand dunes. You get an insight into how people manage their lives under such harsh climatic conditions.

"Tiger hunting tents"
Experience the hospitality of the farmers and shepherds who have never seen a white man on camel before - and feel the peace and magic under the stars in the desert. As always, we stay comfortable. In the sand dunes we stay in classic “tiger hunting tents" similar to the once used by the nobility when they hunted.

Ride your own camel
We may also bring the majestic camel to move around in the area of Chandelao. For example for watching the sunset outside the village, you can ride your own camel, or install yourself comfortably among the cushions on the camel cart.
